Install If you’ve not already heard about it, Timely is a mind-blowingly gorgeous alarm and clock app. Blending the functionality of the native Android clock application with a cool re-sizable widget and customizable themes, it’s an app that manages to be both minimalist and stunning at the same time.

It would incredible to be able to use those themes as live wallpapers.Timely is a breath-taking clock and alarm application that is one of the most beautiful apps I have ever seen or used. It replicates the functionality of the native Android clock app and slaps it beneath a stunning user interface with customizable, animated backgrounds and sounds which are just great to wake up to.
The UI is what blows you away at first. There’s similarities in layout to the Jelly Bean Android clock, with tabs for alarms, clock, and timer along the top of the screen. Beneath each tab, however, things do look different.
Alarm setting is gorgeous, just drag your finger up and down to precisely set the time you want. The movement is smooth, animated and ‘feels’ incredible. There are some lovely alarm sounds to pick from too, meaning no more jarring buzzers. It’s a feature that can wake you gradually and peacefully rather than with a mild heart attack. The Clock is quite straightforward but the animation used to change number is sublime. It just looks like the most beautiful and buttery thing you have ever seen on a mobile device. There are three different clock faces to choose from to, so you can pick which ever you prefer. Finally, the Timer function lets you smoothly flip between timer and stopwatch, again with beautiful animation.
Watch on MobileBehind each feature, you have really nice live wallpaper-style backgrounds. Each can be customized and there are several themes available under the banners of Starter, Nature, Passion, Planet, Magic and Dark. Each is quite subtle yet elegant. Most remind me somewhat of the Bubbles, Holo Spiral and Phase Beam live wallpapers you get with the most recent versions of Android. Sadly, however, you can’t use the themes as actual live wallpapers. Regardless of this, they look utterly superb.
Finally, the app includes a digital clock widget. This looks great too and can be easily re-sized. While it lacks an analogue option, the digital widget finishes off an immaculate and perfectly designed application. If you thought your clock app was functional but a bit on the boring side, this enhances everything about it.
For getting you up, telling you the time, timing and counting down things, it takes the stock clock app and makes it very very beautiful.
The app is very intuitive and works like a charm. If you’re familiar with stock Android UI, this is very similar, only more beautiful.
I use my alarm every morning. I check my clock regularly through the day. Timely is an app that’s meant to be used regularly and is therefore very stable but also enjoyable to use. You’ll be finding excuses to open the app up to play with it! 
The UI is exceptional and set a new standard in interface design. It’s functional, beautiful and properly ‘next level’ stuff.
