Install The Nebulander is a premium live wallpaper app for supporting Android devices. It features steam-punk-ish space craft and a variety of planets and actions to play with. The free version is pretty limited, but the paid for upgrade brings with it a flurry of extra items to customize your homescreen even more.
Price: Free, $2.99 for the full version via an in app purchase

Pros
Change star ship type, atmosphere, clouds, planets, satellites and more!Easy to use!Additional touch controls!Looks great and feels smooth!Cons
Free version gives you very few options. The Nebulander is a cool live wallpaper app that features a neatly animated star ship and a atmospheric backdrop. There are some cool touch controls that allow you to move the craft around and even send out probes. The app is highly customizable and the full version comes with a choice of 2 star ships, 6 atmospheres, 3 clouds, 4 planets and 6 satellites. Star ships can be colored, large or small, fly at a variety of altitudes and fly at different speeds.
My only niggle with the app is that the free version doesn’t give you much to go on, just one of each. The full version seems pretty cool but there’s still only 2 star ships to choose from, it perhaps would have been nice to have more options as they are the central feature.
The Nebulander is incredibly easy to set up and use and, while there are plenty of settings to play with it feels as intuitive as any other wallpaper you’ve used. You typically have a preview screen to view so you know exactly what the wallpaper will look like when you install it on your homescreen, so it’s quite straightforward. If in any doubt, feel free to check out our Android 101 on how to change wallpaper.
What sets The Nebulander apart from so many live wallpapers, however, are the touch controls. So many great live wallpapers limit themselves to being animated, yet static, images. With The Nebulander you can fling the star ship up or down to adjust depth, left or right to change speed, double tap to alter size and single tap to launch a probe. These all work extremely well and the animations look great.
Watch on MobileFor brightening up your homescreen and giving it a spacey theme, The Nebulander is pretty cool. These things are very much about personal taste and while the free version doesn’t give you many options to try, it at least gives you a feel for the wallpaper as a whole.
The app is very easy to set up and use. There are quite a few options to choose from in the full version of the app, but if you are already used to the Android menu systems, this should be very straightforward.
If enabled, the app will really be used whenever you switch on your device.
The interface is great, I especially like the interactive touch control features.
